Year-round program scaled into a winning provincial general election. Identifying details removed at client request.
A governing provincial conservative party heading into a re-election year. Opposition forces were organizing aggressively online, traditional voter contact channels were saturated, and broadcast TV no longer reached younger voters whose viewing had moved to streaming. The party needed to scale digital fundraising, expand its supporter file, and run paid media in the channels modern campaigns now require — without losing the disciplined messaging that had won previous cycles.
We built and ran an end-to-end digital program. Continuous supporter ID and acquisition through Meta and Google paid social. An integrated email fundraising calendar — year-round in the off-cycle, election-mode through the writ. And a paid media mix that brought the party into channels its competitors hadn't moved into yet: streaming TV across services like Sportsnet, Crave, CTV, Paramount+, and TSN, plus streaming audio and digital radio — alongside Meta, Google, and display.
The party's email list grew to roughly 10% of all eligible voters in the province — among the most penetrated political email files in Canada. Online fundraising during the election year cleared seven figures, with rapid-response and final-push email sequences delivering record-breaking sends. Six figures of paid media moved across streaming TV — Sportsnet, Crave, CTV, Paramount+, TSN — plus streaming audio and digital, reaching voters that broadcast TV alone couldn't. The party won.
Year-round digital program, nearly two years running as of early 2025. Identifying details removed at client request.
A large rural Ontario riding with a strong Conservative tradition. The MP wanted to build a year-round digital program that would identify new supporters, raise money between elections, and grow the donor file — not just show up at election time with a cold list.
We ran continuous Facebook and Instagram lead ad campaigns to identify Conservative supporters across the riding, capturing full contact information and vote intention. We wrote and deployed regular email campaigns to fundraise and engage supporters year-round. We managed the list, tracked results, and optimized monthly.
The MP's email list grew 280% over the program period. Annual fundraising more than doubled — as did total donor count. The majority of donations were raised directly through testerdigital-written email campaigns.
In 2024 alone, the program reached 1.2 million Canadians with 6.3 million ad impressions, making the MP one of the most digitally active MPs in the country.

A competitive urban Ontario riding with a modest existing email list. The EDA wanted to build their supporter base aggressively and prove the program could pay for itself. The default approach — save up for election season — wasn't working.
We ran Facebook and Instagram native lead form campaigns — not click-to-website ads. This method captures full supporter data (name, email, phone, postal code, vote intention) at dramatically lower cost per contact. We paired this with a full email fundraising program from day one.
In one year, this EDA grew to nearly 90,000 email contacts — one of the largest political email lists in Canada. Over 55,000 new supporters identified at an average cost of $0.10. The email program raised $65,242, including $36,719 from a single seven-email year-end sequence. 234 new donors traced to the ad campaigns contributed $21,828 in first-time donations.
